Branding entrepreneurial empowerment.

The Latino Economic Development Center is a non-profit that drives economic growth in our region by equipping individuals with the skills and resources to achieve financial prosperity through homeownership and building thriving businesses. Founded in 1991, their programs help the DMV community learn how to build their long-term financial stability and prosperity by buying or staying in their homes, and starting or expanding their business.

DesignChef responded to an RFP to tackle the comprehensive branding of The Flourish Collective, supported by the Eva Longoria Foundation and José Andrés' Longer Tables Fund. This new bilingual program combines multiple tracks of financial and business education to help food entrepreneurs of all stages take their business to the next level. Our proposal was selected from multiple other agencies proposals.

This multi-phased project involved developing the brand platform, visual identity, and messaging platform to effectively market to potential cohort members in the region. After over two months of stakeholder meetings, design rounds, and strategy sessions, we were pleased to hear that the campaign was a success as they begin their first cohort in the Spring of 2026.
