The Square is the brainchild of chefs Richie Brandenburg and Rubén García. Located at 19th & K Streets NW in Downtown Washington, DC, it is home to 10+ food concepts including the gorgeous Casa Teresa, a stunning atrium bar, Shoals Market, and multiple food stalls.

DesignChef was introduced to the team in 2023 to develop a collection of over 160 individual templates for social media posts, digital display boards, and more prior to their grand opening. This project included deliverables for the food hall’s brand, Casa Teresa, and Shoals Market. This was the beginning of an ongoing working relationship of designing digital and print marketing materials for promotions and special events.

For two years we were able to deliver design solutions that were consistent with The Square’s existing brand guidelines. The Square truly stands out among the many food halls in the DC-area and it was a pleasure to collaborate.
